Weekend CDL-A Flatbed Driver Job Details
- Position: Part-Time Weekend CDL-A Flatbed Driver
- Earnings: Up to $500 per shift
- Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays or both weekend days
- Home Time: Home daily after every shift
- Primary Service Area: Ambridge, Koppel and Leetsdale, PA
- Routes: Dedicated local freight between Koppel, Ambridge and Leetsdale
- Freight: 40-foot steel bars and billets
- Securement: Straps
- Typical Workload: Up to four or five local loads per shift, depending on freight demand
- Pay Frequency: Paid weekly
- Additional Pay: Weekend and night-shift differential may be available
Actual loads, hours and earnings depend on freight availability, shift assignment, performance and customer demand.
Available Weekend Shifts
- Weekend Day Shift: Starts between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
- Weekend Night Shift: Starts between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- Flexible weekend availability is preferred.
CDL-A Driver Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- At least nine months of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Flatbed, steel-hauling or load-securement experience strongly preferred
- Ability to safely secure steel bars and billets using straps
- Safe and acceptable driving record
- Dependable, professional and available for weekend work
- Must live within approximately 30 miles of Ambridge, Pennsylvania
