Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness to uphold high sanitation standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
