Duties
- Operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailer and dry van.
- Ensure the safe transport of goods to designated locations while following established routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Positive communication skills
- Ability to keep truck environment clean
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in the transportation industry.
