Starting pay of $17.00 an hour plus trips averaging $2.00+ per hour for a total of $19.00+ per hour.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic General Manager in Training to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to develop their leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. As a General Manager in Training, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of restaurant management, including operations, customer service, and team leadership. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and delegating tasks effectively.
- Engage in food preparation and ensure adherence to food handling and safety standards.
- Manage cash handling processes, including daily cash reconciliation and reporting.
- Train and mentor staff on kitchen management practices, catering services, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management.
- Experience in shift management within a food service environment.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience in catering or bartending is a plus.
