Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring efficient service
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and adhering to sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accountability
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Milagro, Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and food safety practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience with food industry standards including sanitation, food handling, and hospitality protocols
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members effectively

Pay: $6.00 - $8.00 per hour
