Isla Palm: Tan & Glow is a locally owned tanning salon dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. We offer premium tanning beds, custom airbrush spray tans, and exceptional customer service in a clean, welcoming environment. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused team member to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Sales Associate & Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a positive client experience, educating customers on tanning and skincare options, maintaining salon cleanliness, and assisting with daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for beauty, wellness, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers on tanning memberships, packages, products, and services
- Process sales transactions and manage customer accounts
- Schedule appointments and answer phone inquiries
- Maintain salon cleanliness, including tanning rooms, lobby, and common areas
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Promote salon specials, memberships, and retail products
- Ensure compliance with tanning safety guidelines and salon policies
- Assist with social media content creation and marketing efforts when needed
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Comfortable working with sales goals and recommending products/services
- Previous retail, salon, spa, fitness, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old

Schedule
- Part-time position
- Must work 1 Saturday shift and 1 Sunday shift
- Will work both locations BWK + SSI
Pay
- Hourly pay based on experience
- Opportunities for commission and performance bonuses
