American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a hospital OR Float position on a 4x10 day/evening rotation in a high-capacity academic medical center setting.

Hospital-based OR Float unit in a high-capacity academic medical center
-
4x10 schedule with a day/evening rotation; evening shifts run 1p–11p, day shifts run 7a–5:30p (M, T, Th, F) and 9a–7:30p (W)

Contract includes 2 weeks of night shifts and at least 2 short calls per 4-week scheduling period

Weekend shifts are scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8- or 10-hour shifts during that same week to meet contracted hours

EMR: Epic (charting)

CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT required

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Active Massachusetts (MA) license required; no pending licenses accepted

License required if applicable

Experience in a high-capacity operating room required

2 professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Float OR position covering multiple surgical specialties within the facility

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate

No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation and paid public parking lots are nearby

Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
