American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, prior travel experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department

Night shift schedule: 18:00–06:30

13-week contract

Epic EMR is used in this unit
-
May care for boarded patients within the ED
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating required within skill set, onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all must be AHA-issued)
-
TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
-
MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, updated every 2 years

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Provides emergency nursing care to a general ED patient population, including boarded patients
