The Food & Beverage Director serves as the strategic leader of all Food & Beverage operations at The Beverly Hills Hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, fostering innovation, and cultivating a culture of excellence across the division. As a Food & Beverage Director at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will range between $179,800-$199,800
Leadership & Operations
- Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, culinary operations, stewarding, and future outlet concepts.
- Partner with the Pre-Opening Team to lead the planning, development, and successful launch of five new Food & Beverage venues scheduled for Fall 2026, including a signature restaurant, standalone bars, a private dining room, and a screening room concept.
- Establish and execute the overall Food & Beverage strategy, ensuring alignment with Dorchester Collection standards, luxury service expectations, brand positioning, and business objectives.
- Maintain operational excellence across all outlets by ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
Financial & Commercial Performance
- Direct all aspects of financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, labor management, inventory controls, cost management, capital planning, and profit-and-loss accountability. Drive financial performance and operational results to successfully achieve monthly accountability objectives.
- Analyse business performance, guest trends, competitive market conditions, and financial results to identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and enhanced guest satisfaction.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and operational leaders to maximize profitability and support overall hotel performance.
- Maintain expert knowledge of local and global food and beverage trends, positioning The Beverly Hills Hotel as a premier culinary destination and its outlets among the most sought-after in luxury hospitality.
Guest Experience & Innovation
- Collaborate closely with Culinary, Restaurant, and Beverage leadership teams, including the development of a new beverage leadership structure, to create innovative dining, beverage, entertainment, and experiential programming that strengthens market positioning and guest engagement.
- Champion guest satisfaction through proactive engagement with guest feedback platforms, service recovery initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Foster strong relationships with guests, VIP clientele, industry partners, and community stakeholders to enhance brand reputation, elevate the guest experience, and cultivate long-term loyalty.
Talent Development & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Food & Beverage leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, professional growth, and succession planning. Instill a culture of exceptional attention to detail.
- Evaluate organizational structures, staffing models, and operational processes to ensure resources are effectively aligned with business demands and future growth initiatives.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Food & Beverage Director in Five Star, Five Diamond, or comparable luxury environment with multiple restaurant, bar, banqueting and in-room dining operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent luxury hospitality leadership experience will be considered.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our Food & Beverage Director must feel comfortable communicating in this language.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong partnerships with operational and corporate stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and other business-critical periods required by hotel operations.
- Active contributor to the Hotel Executive Committee and senior leadership team, demonstrating initiative, collaboration, and sound business judgment.
