Job Summary
Rise & Run Construction is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on custom new build residential projects, ensuring all details meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship, work with a variety of materials, and contribute to projects from framing to final touches.
Duties
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute finish carpentry tasks.
- Install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and fixtures with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform surface preparation including caulking, plastering, and sanding to ensure smooth finishes.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing materials such as wood, metal, or composite products.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless coordination on-site.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to verify adherence to specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in restoration projects involving water damage remediation, stucco application, siding installation, or masonry work as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finish carpentry or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of various finishing techniques including trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and door hanging.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols such as power tool safety and proper handling of hazardous materials.
