Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Intake Coordinator to support our growing Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) services. The Intake Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for referrals and play a key role in coordinating admissions, ensuring compliance, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for individuals receiving services.
This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, knowledge of DDA Coordination of Community services, and a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming referrals and intake processes
- Communicate with Coordinators of Community Services (CCS), families, and stakeholders
- Review referral packets for completeness and eligibility
- Coordinate assessments, tours, and admissions
- Enter and maintain accurate data in internal systems
- Ensure compliance with Maryland DDA and OHCQ requirements
- Track intake status and maintain documentation records
- Collaborate with program managers and clinical teams for placement readiness
- Follow up on pending referrals and maintain relationships with referral sources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in intake, case management, or DDA services
- Knowledge of Maryland DDA Coordination of Community Service and service authorization processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Westminster, MD 21157
