We are a Large Group Center in Milwaukee County seeking LEAD & ASSISTANT CHILDCARE TEACHERS for our Infant, Toddler, and School Age classrooms to join our organization! We pride ourselves on going over and beyond for the families we serve and looking for others to join our team with the same desires.
The individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children of all ages who attend our center. As an Assistant Teacher the individual will assist the Lead Teacher with daily learning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct Infant, Toddler, or School-Aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students while in our care
- Understands the importance of Diversity & Inclusion
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with infants and toddler students
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents
- Positive and patient attitude
- WI Registry Level of 9 or higher (desired for Lead Teacher but not required)
- Able to follow rules required by the WI DCF
