Schedule:
- 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Varied days with every other weekend required
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
- Active ABG license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience stabilizing neonates (NICU experience not required, but must be comfortable with neonatal stabilization and ventilation until transport)
- Proven clinical experience working independently and as part of a fast-paced team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care based on physician’s prescription
- Conduct diagnostic evaluation: specimen analysis, data interpretation, cardiopulmonary testing
- Manage acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced technology and treatment protocols
- Monitor and administer medical gases, provide ventilatory support, manage artificial airways, deliver bronchopulmonary hygiene, and handle pharmacologic agents
- Offer patient education, support rehabilitation, and participate in cardiovascular/hemodynamic support
