We are seeking an experienced CNC Machining Specialist with Wire and Sinker EDM experience to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and programming EDM equipment, producing precision components and tooling, performing jig and fixture work, and supporting production through accurate and efficient machining operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $26.00/hour, with higher pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM equipment to produce complex, precision-machined components.
- Load, secure, and accurately align workpieces, fixtures, and tooling.
- Create, edit, and optimize Wire EDM programs using CAM software and machine controls.
- Fabricate and measure electrodes for Sinker EDM operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on EDM equipment, including cleaning, replacing wear components, checking filtration, and maintaining dielectric systems.
- Operate additional manual and CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, jig borers, and precision grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances.
- Perform precision measurements using a variety of gauges and measuring instruments.
- Machine complex parts involving compound angles, irregular surfaces, tight tolerances, and multiple dimensions.
- Determine proper machining sequences, tooling, speeds, feeds, and setups.
- Rework production components and tooling as needed and verify finished parts for accuracy.
- Work closely with engineering, production, programming, and other teams to resolve machining issues.
- Make recommendations regarding part design, manufacturability, and machining processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory of completed products and components.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical education preferred.
- 4–6 years of EDM machining experience or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of EDM machining processes, equipment, and techniques.
- Experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and cutting tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, and GD&T.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing production requirements.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain a strong focus on safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, as needed.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
