KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute pruning and tree work on client properties across the Kansas City metro, including tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding
-
Take initiative and ownership of daily routes, equipment, and quality of work

Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently with efficiency
-
Operate small-engine equipment safely and proficiently, including chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers
-
Communicate professionally with clients regarding service expectations, processes, and timelines
-
Adhere to all safety protocols while working aloft and on the ground
Requirements:
A background in forestry or a related field is a plus. That said, if you bring a genuine willingness to learn—both on the job and independently, our structured training program will equip you with the skills to succeed. All candidates must meet the following requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Production Arborist or in comparable tree care/climbing role

Strong physical capability, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
-
Comfort and respect for working at heights; ability to climb and work aloft
-
Ability to push and pull objects over extended distances
-
Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions
-
A self-starter mindset and commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
-
Valid driver's license required

Ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a background check and drug screening
-
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Kansas City metro area
