Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and specialized therapies such as Reiki services.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess symptoms, medical history, and specific wellness goals.
- Utilize medical software to document client information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, including breastfeeding support, postpartum care, nutrition advice, and working with families.
- Manage intake procedures and ensure proper patient assessment before each session.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment adhering to health regulations and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment options and progress while fostering trust and comfort during sessions.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in patient service and patient care within a clinical or wellness setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote consultations or follow-up sessions is a plus.
- Experience working with diverse populations including postpartum women and families is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to labor & delivery, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding support enhances your ability to serve clients effectively.
- Prior experience offering holistic therapies such as Reiki or integrating nutrition advice into wellness plans is advantageous.
