ABOUT PREVISION PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL
Prevision Plumbing & Electrical is a growing commercial and residential plumbing contractor serving Boise/Treasure Valley ID, Spokane WA, and Moses Lake WA, with commercial work spanning apartments, restaurants, hotels, and other multi-use spaces. We're building out our estimating team to support continued growth across all three markets and are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator who can work remotely while staying closely connected to our field and project teams.
POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to help us win and price commercial plumbing work across our growing footprint. This is a remote role; after an initial 2-week on-site training in Spokane or Moses Lake, you'll work independently while staying closely connected to our operations and project teams. If you love digging into plans, sharpening a bid, and negotiating a fair price, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Read plans and specs to scope out plumbing systems on commercial projects, apartments, restaurants, hotels, and other multi-use spaces
- Perform detailed takeoffs and build accurate, competitive bids for material, labor, and equipment costs
- Get quotes from vendors and subcontractors, and negotiate pricing
- Spot cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without cutting corners on quality
- Manage multiple active bids at once and hit submission deadlines
- Work directly with our Director of Commercial Operations and project managers on bid strategy
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-5+ years of experience estimating commercial plumbing projects
- Solid understanding of plumbing systems, piping, and related equipment
- Confident reading blueprints and technical specs
- Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software and Excel
- Strong communication skills and the discipline to manage a full workload remotely
- Familiarity with construction codes and standards for plumbing systems
- Willingness to complete a 2-week on-site training period in Spokane, WA or Moses Lake, WA
