Experienced Professional Dog Groomer

Camp Bow Wow Hillsboro is hiring an experienced professional dog groomer to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level grooming position. We are looking for a groomer with solid professional experience who takes pride in producing beautiful, high-quality work while providing a safe, low-stress experience for every dog.
As our only groomer on site, you'll have the freedom to focus on your craft without the chaos of a crowded salon. We believe quality should never be sacrificed for speed.

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has at least 3 years of professional dog grooming experience (preferred)
- Can confidently groom all breeds and coat types
- Produces consistent, high-quality finishes
- Is skilled in hand scissoring, deshedding, breed trims, and pet trims
- Handles dogs with patience, confidence, and compassion
- Takes pride in cleanliness and organization
- Builds trust with clients and enjoys educating pet parents
- Is dependable, positive, and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, deshedding, and specialty treatments
- Ensure every pet receives safe, gentle, individualized care
- Recommend grooming schedules and services based on each dog's needs
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming salon
- Provide outstanding customer service from check-in through pickup
Qualifications
- Professional dog grooming experience required
- Portfolio or photos of your work strongly encouraged
- Excellent scissoring and finishing skills
- Ability to groom dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
