The Opportunity
Our client is a private equity-backed developer of next-generation digital infrastructure, delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects across North America.
They are currently developing a flagship greenfield campus in Texas, featuring on-site gas-fired power generation, supporting utility infrastructure, and advanced water management capabilities. Construction is underway, with additional projects already planned, offering long-term growth and continuity.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced quality leader to help shape the QA/QC function from the ground up while transitioning into the rapidly expanding data center sector.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Project Execution, the Director of QA/QC will establish and lead the quality function across all phases of construction, commissioning, and project turnover.
The successful candidate will develop quality systems, processes, and teams to support the delivery of a complex, multi-phase project, working closely with EPC contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project-wide Quality Management System (QMS).
- Build and lead the QA/QC team and establish quality standards across the project.
- Oversee EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), NCRs, CAPAs, audits, and quality reporting.
- Drive quality performance across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes.
- Support mechanical completion, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and final turnover activities.
- Ensure all quality documentation, turnover packages, and as-built records are complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, HSE, procurement, and commissioning teams to proactively manage quality risks.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of QA/QC leadership experience on large-scale EPC projects.
- Proven experience supporting multi-million- or billion-dollar greenfield construction programs.
- Strong understanding of construction quality processes across multi-discipline scopes.
- Experience building or enhancing QA/QC programs and teams.
- Demonstrated success managing quality through construction, commissioning, and project handover.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within mission-critical, power generation, oil and gas, LNG, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or data center environments.
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure including substations, switchgear, generators, and other power systems.
- Data center experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
