Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of residential properties.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchens and bathrooms by disinfecting surfaces and fixtures thoroughly.
- Manage floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and applying appropriate treatments for different surfaces.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as sweeping porches or tidying outdoor spaces to enhance overall property appearance.
- Practice safe manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or appliances to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, understanding their preferences, and addressing any special requests or concerns.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and equipment including carpet cleaners and floor buffers.
- Hands-on experience with laundry services and custodial tasks demonstrates versatility in housekeeping responsibilities.
- Outdoor work experience can be beneficial for handling exterior cleaning tasks or property upkeep.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing required for daily operations.
