Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment according to schematics and technical manuals.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical, appliance problems on-site with precision and professionalism.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex projects or installations in construction environments.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including detailed reports on repairs performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all service procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair, or refrigeration is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior technicians or coordinate team efforts effectively.
- Prior work in construction or industrial environments is a plus for understanding diverse job sites.
