Duties
- Assist in operating large-format printers, digital presses, and screen printing machines to produce high-quality prints.
- Support color management processes to ensure accurate color reproduction across different media and substrates.
- Help interpret production documents and specifications to meet project requirements precisely.
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical adjustments on printing and cutting equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Aid in paper binding, cutting, and finishing tasks to prepare printed materials for delivery or display.
- Collaborate with the team on layout design, typography, and prepress setup using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
- Familiarity with print production processes including digital printing, flexo press operation, and screen printing.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate industrial equipment safely and perform machine adjustments as needed.
- Understanding of color management techniques and print advertising standards.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong technical proficiency in prepress software, layout design, and typography.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality control throughout all stages of production.
