We are Olde Town Social, a recently opened and constantly expanding Cocktail Lounge and Tapas Bar. Our Chef-inspired scratch cocktails and food menu compliment an awesome vibe here. We are looking for a few new, energetic, and adaptive faces to join our team, and that's exactly what this is. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Take accurate orders using our TOAST POS system, ensuring quick and correct processing of food and beverage transactions
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments seamlessly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces for banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are prepared and stored correctly
- Promote sales by upselling menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or banquet halls
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Toast POS or Aloha POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Effective time management to handle multiple tables or events simultaneously without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate bill calculations
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with licensing laws (including brewing knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering functions
Pay
- Pay for these positions is set at the Jefferson County Minimum Tipped Wage of $13.00 per hour + Tip Share
