Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service for customers
Requirements or willingness to learn
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Proficient in operating a POS system for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of food service procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
