Sales Department
Position Scope:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for projecting a favorable image of International Wholesale Tile, LLC’s (IWT) initiatives. They will promote and support company values and objectives to reflect a positive recognition of the company’s directives.
The Territory Manager will maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster a cooperative and unified environment conducive to maximizing productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Job Duties Outline:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing retail customers, always providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, market research, and proactive outreach.
- Ability to create marketing strategies based on market trends
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. Provide samples as needed.
- Develop and present proposals and quotes to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure sales.
- Resolve customer concerns and develop solutions in an expeditious manner.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Self-motivated – ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and achieve sales goals
- Ability to plan routes and appointments to maximize efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to ensure project deadlines are met
- Ability to maintain professionalism with timely responses on emails and all other customer and company communications
- Capability to interact with internal and external customers, providing them with correct information, straightforward support, and common courtesy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and sales skills
- Ability to recognize and prioritize time-sensitive tasks.
- Ability to create production schedules and manage team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Tenacious follow up and precise attention to detail.

- Ability to track and process multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Working Conditions:
- All work is performed in a standard office environment with limited exposure to adverse conditions or health and safety risks
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ideally be able to lift up to 50 pounds but not required.
- Work within timelines and achieve desired deadlines even amidst distractions
- Work well under pressure and stressful situations
Essential Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the capacity to expand knowledge to industry specific software and reporting programs.
- Organizational and time management skills are necessary.
- Work within timelines and achieve desired deadlines and sales goals monthly.
- Ability to travel as needed to fulfil job requirements, including ability to attend trade shows and sales meetings when needed.
Experience:
- 3 years experience in a sales-related field is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Works well with management, peers and other departments including other members of the sales team.
- An ability to communicate and conduct oneself professionally with people at all levels of the organization and with customers.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday and additional hours as required
