Join our dynamic team as an Experience Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our facilities running smoothly and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supervising maintenance operations to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our hotel. Your leadership and technical skills will directly contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that guests love. Must be a self starter and require little to no direction.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters.
- Perform residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the hotel’s appearance and structural integrity.
- Operate tools such as schematics readers, welders, electrical testers, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders and maintenance history.
- Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities, including supervising junior staff or contractors when necessary.
- Manage facilities maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while maintaining the hotel’s physical environment.
- Assist with manufacturing or setup projects within the hotel premises as needed to support special events or renovations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest repair requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and carpentry.
- Familiarity with schematics reading, electrical testing tools such as Ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams or contractors is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to perform residential painting and basic manufacturing tasks when required.
