Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables, running food, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to uphold cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems
- Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
- Assist BOH staff when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and basic math for cash handling transactions
