*NO LAWN CARE OR LANDSCAPERS- THIS IS A PEST CONTROL/EXTERMINATOR POSITION*
We are a third generation family-owned small business operating since 1965, and we are looking for an experienced pest control technician to join our team! Your weekly work tasks will range from providing pest control services for commercial businesses, residential buildings, restaurants, schools, and other establishments. The ideal candidate is independent, has great communication skills, and is comfortable with being on the road. Schedule is Monday-Friday (no weekends) 8:00am-4:00pm (varying within an hour depending on the stops of the day).
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Inspect and treat for various pests using a variety of different methods such as spraying pesticides, setting traps, etc.
- Take a problem solving approach to uncover the root cause of pest issues and devise a solution
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients at job sites
- Exercise time management skills to ensure all assigned stops are met for the day
- Ensure monthly route completion is met for assigned commercial stops
Job Requirements
- Previous experience working in pest control
- Valid Pesticide Applicator's License (Core and 7a)
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching
Compensation:
- Salary (paid weekly)
