As the Lead VPK Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing children for their educational journey. You’ll be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning, creativity, and social development. - Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the VPK curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share updates on their child’s growth and achievements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all students.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the VPK curriculum and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
