Job Overview
Bow & Button is a children’s consignment boutique in downtown River Falls, and I’m looking for a warm, dependable, and detail-oriented person to join the shop part-time.
This position would be a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, children’s clothing, organizing, and being part of a small local business. You’ll sometimes be working independently, so I’m looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable taking initiative, and can confidently manage the store during their shift.
Schedule:
Wednesday: 12:00–4:00
Thursday: 12:00–4:00
Friday: 12:00–4:00
Possible occasional Saturdays
Approximately 12 hours per week, with the possibility of additional Saturday hours.
Pay: $18/hour
Job duties include:
- Opening the store and getting the shop ready for customers
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, helpful service
- Running checkout and handling customer transactions
- Answering basic questions about the store and consignment process
- Keeping clothing racks, displays, and merchandise neat and organized
- Restocking and rotating items throughout the shop
- Light tagging, hanging, and preparing incoming inventory
- Helping keep the checkout area and store clean and tidy
- Assisting with occasional consignment drop-offs
- Completing small day-to-day shop tasks during slower periods
More than anything, I’m looking for someone who is kind, dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and genuinely interested in Bow & Button.
