Overview
Join our team as a Room Turnover Assistant, where your energy, organization, and attention to detail will help create an exceptional move-in experience for every resident. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing apartments for new residents by coordinating room readiness, assisting with move-ins, and ensuring our quality standards are met. Your proactive approach and teamwork will contribute to a seamless turnover process and uphold our commitment to outstanding resident service. Must be a fluent English speaker.
This role will be very hands on and up to 40 hours per week from July 21st - August 4th. After that it will be more of a part time schedule averaging 22-30 hours per week through the month of August. After this timeframe we will evaluate if help is needed going forward. Please take this into consideration before applying.
Responsibilities
- Create and program keys for new residents and verify that they function properly before move-in.
- Assist with moving and staging furniture, including heavy lifting, while following all safety protocols.
- Stage apartments to ensure they meet company move-in standards.
- Serve as a liaison between the leasing office, maintenance, housekeeping, and painting teams to ensure all turnover tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Inspect apartments for quality and communicate any deficiencies to the appropriate team for correction.
- Assist residents during move-in by addressing questions and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to resident requests related to apartment readiness and amenities.
- Answer office phones and assist with leasing office operations if needed.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents when necessary.
- Participate in social media content and promotional photos when requested.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the property's operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in apartment turnovers, hospitality, customer service, maintenance, or office administration is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the confidence to identify and communicate issues to maintenance, painting, or other teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain professional and effectively resolve concerns with upset or frustrated residents.
- Ability to lift and move furniture safely and perform other physical tasks associated with apartment turnovers.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist with a variety of tasks both within and outside the scope of this role.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
