Role Overview
The Pool Service Supervisor is responsible for managing team schedules, maintaining OEG client swimming pools, test water chemistry, balance pH levels, and perform routine cleaning to ensure a safe, sparkling swimming pool environment. This role requires leadership ability, a strong understanding of pool equipment and chemicals, including the ability to diagnose and repair, perform pool openings and winterizing, along with other duties within our Property Care Division as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues, including leaks, clogs, and faulty controllers
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation components such as sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and controllers
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and excavators to perform installation and repair tasks accurately and safely
- Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and soil preparation
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects that incorporate efficient irrigation solutions
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and system updates for client files
- Prepare site for irrigation and Install rain sensors, valves, & nozzles
- Support crew by contributing to constant attention to detail, cleanliness of job sites, and preventive maintenance of all equipment
- Perform physical field and yard work; load and unload vehicles at pickup and delivery
- Work safely in a team environment to produce high quality landscapes.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma
- Two (2)+ years of irrigation service experience
- Two (2)+ years of customer service/facing experience
- Valid and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Read, write and speak clearly in English
- 40+hour work week with shift rotations, including some Saturday
- Able to lift 60 pounds, bend, kneel, stand and dig for log periods
- Backflow certification highly preferred
Additional Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment
- Familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture principles
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
- Ability to read technical diagrams and system schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and system optimization
