General Manager – Jimmy John’s
Salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year + Bonus Plan
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and energetic General Manager to lead our Jimmy John’s restaurant. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, including team leadership, customer service, food quality, sales, profitability, and employee development.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure company standards are consistently met
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain qualified team members
- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive customer experience
- Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, cleanliness, and food safety
- Manage labor costs, food costs, inventory, and other operating expenses
- Schedule employees effectively based on business needs
- Monitor sales and restaurant performance and take action to improve results
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
- Conduct employee coaching and performance evaluations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure proper cash handling and restaurant security procedures
- Work closely with the ownership/management team to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Lead by example and create a positive, accountable, team-oriented work environment
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a restaurant or similar fast-paced food-service environment
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and controlling operating costs
- Ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to lead by example
