We are a growing property management company seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property maintenance and a strong work ethic. The role will be focused on maintaining our properties, ensuring that they are safe and comfortable for our tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, patching walls, and replacing light fixtures
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Assist with property turnovers, ensuring that units are thoroughly cleaned and repaired between tenants
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize future repairs and maintenance costs
- Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and other team members to ensure that all maintenance needs are addressed quickly and efficiently
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
