Job Summary

Duties
- Quickly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers, ensuring timely service and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling dishes, garnishing plates, and organizing ingredients to support kitchen staff.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage customer payments efficiently.
- Support food safety and sanitation protocols by maintaining a clean workspace, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, upsell additional products or specials, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Help manage customer orders through food service customer order management systems, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation and service flow.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food handling skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions confidently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell menu items effectively and create positive guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure sanitation and proper food handling at all times.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while supporting food preparation activities.
