As a Housing Program Manager, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals and families achieve housing stability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Housing Programs: Oversee tenant selection, intake processes, move-ins, and ongoing housing retention support.
- Building Key Partnerships: Collaborate with local property managers, housing authorities, and HUD programs to secure housing opportunities.
- Ensuring Compliance: Maintain program operations in alignment with federal, state, and local supportive housing grant requirements.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in housing assistance or HUD programs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage relationships with landlords and community partners.
- A commitment to supporting vulnerable populations in achieving housing stability.
This full-time position serves communities across North Carolina, including:
Charlotte, Concord, Salisbury, Kannapolis, Greensboro, Asheville, Rutherfordton, Hickory, Forest City, Gastonia, Shelby, Kings Mountain, Monroe, and High Point.
