Job Overview
We are seeking three motivated and energetic individuals to join our culinary team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn about the baking-side of working in a kitchen. You can learn how to make many from-scratch recipes for a diverse menu full of breads, cakes, and many other pastries!
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with menu planning and daily food preparation to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving duties
- Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences
Experience
- Experience in restaurant or food service environments, especially in fine dining settings
- Strong kitchen experience with a focus on food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
- Familiarity with catering operations and serving in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques and food presentation
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
