Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Fabricate and modify parts using various machining techniques such as milling, drilling, and turning
- Program CNC machines using G-code or Mazatrol language
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of tooling, machining techniques, and materials
- Experience with Mazatrol programming language is preferred
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding is a plus
