Sales Associate / Membership Advisor — ONYX Hudson

ONYX is Northeast Ohio's premier fitness and wellness brand, with six locations and over 20,000 members. ONYX Hudson is home to our Tennis & Racquet Club — a premium facility offering top-tier amenities alongside our full-service gym. We're looking for a driven, personable Sales Associate / Membership Advisor to help grow our Hudson membership base and deliver a best-in-class experience from a prospective member's first visit onward.
What You'll Do
- Greet and engage walk-in prospects, phone inquiries, and web leads promptly and professionally
- Conduct facility tours that highlight ONYX Hudson's amenities, programs, and community
- Present membership options clearly, match plans to member needs, and close sales
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospects through calls, texts, and email to convert interest into memberships
- Meet or exceed individual and club-wide monthly sales and membership targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, tours, and sales activity in the CRM/membership system
- Support member onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition from sign-up to active engagement
- Build relationships with current members to encourage referrals and reduce cancellations
- Represent the ONYX brand and standards in every member and guest interaction
- Collaborate with front desk, training, and management staff to support overall club performance
What We're Looking For
- Prior sales experience preferred, ideally in fitness, membership-based, or hospitality settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with people
- Goal-oriented mindset and comfort working toward sales targets
- Confident, professional presentation both in person and over the phone
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using CRM/POS systems
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness is a strong plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
