Duties
- Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards.
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized items using appropriate solvents and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and machine operation to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other housekeeping or hotel maintenance tasks as needed to support overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations.
