About the Role:
As a CBRE Meeting & Events Coordinator, youwill assist with the coordination and execution of small to medium meetings, conferences, and events.
This job is part of the Workplace Experiencefunction. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designatedbuilding. This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Summit, NJ.
What You’ll Do:
Primary point of contact for smaller meetingsand events. Provide support for larger and more complex meetings and events as needed.
Work with clients, vendors, and team members tocoordinate guest services. This includes arrival experience, transportation, signage, displays, specialneeds requirements, printing, and event security.
Create a hospitable environment for attendees,event owners, and vendors on the day of the event.
Assist with conference room turnover and middayroom refresh. Reconfigure rooms for evening indoor and outdoor spaces. Take direction from senior teammembers.
Respond to event activities such as gatheringevent supplies, equipment needs, food & beverage services, facility security, etc.
Conduct room set up, refresh, and removal offood, beverage, and service items. Maintain outlines of smallspace configurations, decor possibilities, andevent-related event items.
Complete room checks and ensure technical andvisual spaces are functional. Troubleshoot audio and technical issues.
Manage a small inventory of event supplies.
Coordinate master meeting and events calendarfor small to medium-sized event spaces. Communicate events schedule with team and service providers.
Assist with post-event reporting andreconciliation. Escalate potential issues and concerns as appropriate.
Use existing procedures to solvestraightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods,and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following definedprocedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 yearsof job-related experience.
Fulfill the physical requirements associatedwith this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carryheavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines andstandards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchangestraightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with aninquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation is about $68,000 annual base salary with some potential flexibility depending on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
