The Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Associate (7+ years of experience) to join our litigation team. This role offers a high level of responsibility and direct client engagement, providing the opportunity to manage cases independently while working closely with our experienced partners on complex, high-value disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead Litigation Matters – Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
✔ Courtroom & Depositions – Handle motion practice, depositions, mediations, and hearings, with opportunities for first- and second-chair experience.
✔ Strategic Case Development – Conduct legal research, draft compelling briefs, and develop case strategies tailored to client objectives.
✔ Client Interaction – Serve as a key advisor, maintaining strong relationships and providing clear, strategic counsel.
✔ Mentorship & Firm Growth – Work closely with senior attorneys and contribute to the development of junior associates and law clerks.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ J.D. from an accredited law school & admission to the New York Bar
✅ 7+ years of litigation experience, ideally in commercial litigation
✅ Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
✅ Courtroom confidence – Strong oral advocacy and the ability to argue motions persuasively
✅ Ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases independently
✅ Trial experience a plus but not required
