Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service during their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Operate POS systems to process food orders, retail sales transactions, and cash handling accurately
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Manage customer orders efficiently using food service customer order management techniques to minimize wait times
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining friendly engagement with guests
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment regularly in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle register operations smoothly, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; familiarity with cashiering procedures is essential
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry or restaurant setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
