Description:
Detail-oriented Hospital Maintenance Worker with experience in healthcare construction, renovation, and project management.
Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance & Repair: Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on hospital infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and medical equipment.

Project Management: Coordinate healthcare construction and renovation projects from start to finish, including assisting with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure construction and maintenance activities meet hospital safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Contractors: Work with external contractors, architects, and engineering teams to ensure that construction/renovation work aligns with hospital needs and timelines.

Renovation and Expansion Projects: Assist in the planning and execution of hospital expansion projects, renovation of patient care areas, and upgrading medical equipment infrastructure.

Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Offer help and knowledge in managing project budgets, expenditures, resource allocation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and communicate maintenance activities, project milestones, and compliance reports.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification in maintenance, construction, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in hospital facility maintenance, healthcare construction, or renovation projects.

Project management experience, including planning, coordination, and budget management.

Understanding of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and medical gas systems.

Basic knowledge of healthcare-specific regulations and standards, including building codes, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle unexpected challenges.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in confined spaces and heights.

Comfortable working in a hospital environment with exposure to potentially hazardous materials.
