Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness for new product introductions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including quality engineers, quality assurance, setup personnel and machinists to support production goals, product quality and on-time delivery.

Develop and implement efficient CNC machining processes, including tooling, fixtures, and programming for multiaxis CNC machines.

Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring compliance with product specifications and quality standards.

Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.

Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products, offering DFM (Design for Manufacturability) input during the design phase.

Lead troubleshooting and rootcause analysis for manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Evaluate and select proper CNC equipment, tooling, and technologies for NPI.

Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and standard operating procedures.

Train and mentor machine operators and other staff on CNC processes, best practices, and quality standards.

Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining and process engineering.

Extensive handson experience with CNC machine programming, setup and operation. This includes advanced skills like probing and macro programming.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks CAD, Esprit CAM, Siemens NX CAD/CAM) including verification software Vericut.

Indepth knowledge of multiaxis CNC machining (e.g., 3, 4, and 5axis mills, and multi axis millturn lathes).

Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications/standards in accordance with customer requirements.

Strong understanding of GD&T (ASNI Y14.5) and blueprint reading.

Extensive knowledge and use of common metrology & measurement systems.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.

Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Experience with PCDMIS CMM programming and/or automation engineering.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (preferably Epicor).

Experience with MBD in Siemens NX environment.
