Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional
Event Staff to support a major festival event in Kingston, NY. This guest-facing role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills who enjoy helping people and working in a fast-paced event environment.
Team members will assist attendees throughout the event by scanning tickets, directing guests, answering questions, and helping ensure a positive festival experience.
Event Staff Responsibilities:
- Scan tickets and welcome guests upon arrival
- Assist attendees with locating seating areas, stages, restrooms, vendors, and merchandise locations
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer guest questions
- Help maintain an organized and safe event environment
- Direct foot traffic and assist with crowd flow
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow event staff
- Support event operations as needed throughout the event
Schedule:
Training
- August 13, 2026 – Half-day orientation/training
Event Dates
- August 14, 2026: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- August 15, 2026: 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM
- August 16, 2026: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Applicants must be available for all event dates and scheduled hours.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Ability to remain standing and active throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy event environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Previous event, hospitality, guest services, retail, or customer-facing experience is a plus
