Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create smooth, durable surfaces for a variety of projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and finish concrete surfaces, ensuring they meet project specifications.
- Use hand tools and equipment to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete.
- Perform tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall installation as needed.
- Assist in the construction estimating process by providing input on material requirements and labor needs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including metal stud framing and stucco specialists, to complete projects efficiently.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during the finishing process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe practices in a construction setting.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience with additional skills such as welding, stucco application, and the use of hand tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
