Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and retail math calculations
- Support retail sales initiatives by promoting products and services aligned with customer interests
- Handle data entry tasks related to sales records, customer information, and financial transactions using retail software systems
- Assist with retail lending activities such as loan processing and loan collections when applicable
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
- Previous retail store experience or familiarity with retail sales environments preferred
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, register balancing, and transaction processing
- Experience with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform data entry accurately, including 10-key typing for quick transaction processing
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash management responsibilities confidently and responsibly
