Summary:
This position focuses on children/adolescents who have been exposed to domestic violence. Provides culturally competent, high quality compassionate and ethical therapy to children, adolescents and families; develops treatment plans appropriate to the situation; maintains case notes and documentation; handles insurance issues for parents or significant caregivers of children in the program (if appropriate).
Responsibilities:
- Provides assessment, therapy and referral services for clients (children, adolescents and family as needed and appropriate.
- Provides case management services for clients as required or needed.
- Provides 24 hour emergency/on call services to clients.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, other staff members, and staff from other agencies.
- Completes and maintains case notes and documentation that is timely and accurate in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide consultation to other programs, agencies and service providers within one's area of expertise as requested.
- Appears in Court as required.
- Maintains good standing with relevant boards and insurance entities, and maintains licenses, certifications and any paperwork required for credentialing or paneling with insurance companies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree which fulfills the educational requirements for licensure within a mental health profession (e.g., clinical social work or mental health counseling) from an accredited school or university.
- Must be licensed in a counseling profession or actively working towards licensure.
- LCSW or LPCMH licensure preferred.
- Certification in an evidence-based treatment modality preferred.
- Muse be certified or working toward certification in a therapy approach recognized as effective in working with children.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a behavioral science or helping profession. Experience must include direct provision of services.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
