Position: Travel Social Worker (LCSW/Behavioral Health)
Specialty: Hospital – Inpatient Psychiatry
Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (possible extension)
Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or another Behavioral Health discipline from an accredited institution.
- Current Vermont license (LICSW, LMFT, or LCMHC) or willingness to register on the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation Roster of Psychotherapists (Non-Licensed/Non-Certified) prior to employment.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Recent inpatient psychiatric social work experience within the last 6 months.
- Comfortable working with children and adolescent psychiatric populations.
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour workweek based on patient and family needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of inpatient psychiatric social work experience.
- Strong behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
